The Music Inspires the Art process

The Tour was put together by the Indigo Girls and featured Bonnie Raitt and Joan Baez, Indigenous, and Dar Williams. The focus of the Tour was to save the Buffalo of Yellowstone, and voter registration on the reservation lands was the strategy. The influence of the Music of the tour showed up in Linda's paintings. The Power Images evolved into the Connection to Ancestors Series that includes the recent Bison paintings. Linda painted to the double CD and wore it out and replaced it. You can find the rhythms and the palettes of the music in the work. Last night, Linda heard the Indigo concert at Chautauqua Park in Boulder and brought home new inspiration.
